The Saro-Aurean Crown dispute is a legal dispute between the Aurean Empire and the New Sarovian Empire. The dispute began in early September 2020 when Constantine Vasa and Richard Vaughn were discussing a possible deal to hand over the titles and positions of the New Sarovian Empire to the Kevlar Vaughn. The initial deal was in exchange the titles and positions in the New Sarovian Empire, Kevlar Vaughn would erase Constantine from the GMC in an attempt to force himself to stay away from the game and not be remembered. The deal was brokered in Richard's guild house between Constantine's alternate account and Kevlar himself, where the elements of the deal were agreed on and hands were shook. On the 20th of September 2020, Kevlar gathered prominent members of Aurea and the GMC and the transfer was completed in the presence of two Sarovian junior officers who were created Knights of the Order of the New Sarovian Empire especially for the occasion.
The was published and all parties were satisfied. In the event, Constantine spoke about the transfer and insulted both Aurea and Peter Rhodes and then promptly went offline. The deal was almost immediately broken in Constantine's eyes when Kevlar did not participate in his end of the deal, and this fight came to a climax when in November of 2020, Constantine returned to lead New Sarovia.

Personal Statement from Kevlar Vaughn:

"This is an on-going scuffle over an undeniably real event and the subsequent attempts from certain parties to attempt to reverse or at least counter-balance what is arguably the biggest political blunder in GMC History. Hours of debate over this has already sullied just about every other public GMC space, but arguments have no place on the Wiki; a place for the immortalization of our history - not heated back-and-forth. With that said, I'll announce Aurea's intent to not take part in this joke of a page, so it can be left as what it truly is, one of the dozens of Sarovian attempts to cope with the fact they were foolish enough to sign over their sovereignty to an enemy nation.

I will however urge anyone who takes it open themselves to read through this absolute meme, to take anything said with the appropriate grain of salt. As is the case with just about any piece of Sarovian-created reading, I can already glimpse numerous falsities and attempts at twisting narrative."

The Sarovian argument for the dispute is twofold. The primary argument is in direct response to the Aurean argument - statements made by Kevlar immediately after the ceremony in an argument with former Sarovian Martius indicate that Constantine has the power to do whatever he wishes with Sarovian titles, including agreeing that Constantine could at any moment "strip titles from [Aurea]". The second Sarovian argument for the dispute is that of a legal argument - that Constantine was neither King or Emperor of the New Sarovian Empire at the time (he had retired in May of the year, but did not even hold the titles in all of 2020) and such a transfer of titles was legally impossible. Likewise, the Sarovian constitution that was written in May of 2020 specifically stated that nobody could hold the Sarovian throne unless certain requirements were met, and Kevlar and his Aurean successors did not legally meet any requirements.
