Percy had played Olwest off and on for some time, but was never aware of any relevant guilds on the server. He heard of Aurea from somewhere, and fired up Olwest and promptly joined. He was appointed Commandant-General of Military Research and Development, looking for ways to use ingame items to expand the military's roleplay and making graphics that were needed. It was during this time Percy founded the [[Atwell Corporation]], then known as Dax & Sons Textile Company. Olwest Aurea was very active during this time, with a lot of commerce and Aurean Football League games taking place. Aurea had a truly functioning government and civil population on Graal, an incredible sight to behold. Percy was discharged for challenging King Banana Eater's authority and went into a decently long hiatus.
=== Communist Aurea (2019) ===
Perseus, naturally, joined in on the second era of glorious Aurean communism when it presented itself in the summer of 2019. Initially ranked in some arbitrary high command role, like Colonel or something. After several weeks of the usual grind, and playing on the Aurean Minecraft world, the grandest of opportunties presented itself. The Marshal of the army, Arno, was being his usual self. Multiple calls for him to be relieved of his position were heard in the Politburo, the second highest staff channel in the Discord. (Note: Behind the newly minted "Scooby Council"; The name of which is widely attributed to Percy.) Arno was considered to be grossly unfit for his position after a series of scandals, the most notable being the complete withdrawal from battle to play on the Minecraft world. Despite repeated mentioning of him in the server, he neglected to show up to defend himself. Nylius ultimately started a countdown, because Arno is like a child, and when it ended, Perseus was made Marshal of the Eastern Front of Aurea. This was shortlived, however, as he contracted the gay ass chicken pox shortly after. He elected to go resign from his position and take a break from Graal while he recovered.

Perseus first started making GFX just a few short minutes after he was fertilized as an egg in the womb. When he began making art, before the Obama presidency, he used the original Paint on a desktop computer that ran on the Windows Millenium Edition OS. Eventually, when he was old enough to spell, he began playing multiplayer games on the internet. It was around 2011 that he began to make art on equipment that wasn't manufactured before his birth. Philip introduced him to a pixelated game called Fantasy Online, and it made his prepubescent penis stiff as a rock. He would frequently take screenshots and draw in his own art, modifying the player sprites and landscapes to his heart's content. Though this was shortlived. In 2012, Fantasy Online's servers were shut down permanently. After a period of time, playing games like Transformice on Kongegrate back before Adobe Flash was JFKed, Perseus got his first handheld device for Christmas in 2013. He (Rather unfortunately) found Graalonline Classic in around January 2014. Percy appreciated the pixel art graphics the same way he did FO's. He was aware you could make your own customs, but he didn't know all the technical aspects of it at the time. Perseus played the game as you do for awhile, bullying retards, pretending to be an adult when you're actually 12; The works.
He eventually got a bit of an education and turned on Paint to give custom GFX a go. If you have an account on Graalians, you might be able to find his thread in the GFX section and realize it wasn't pretty. In fact, it took a couple years for him to get good.

The first shields he made were for his Roman themed guild, Victrices, which honestly sucked. During the Kingdoms era of the community he started to figure out his craft. While everyone else used the stock banner flown in York, Percy and his associates rocked custom designs widely ogled by the community. In 2016 during Communist Aurea, his gun shields were some of the best ever seen. In the 2019 Communist era, he made never before seen modular sandbag shields. Today, Perseus is widely known as one of the best artists in the community, and as of this writing, a number of modern uniforms use his custom body design.
Perseus has made a great range of graphics, from simple medal shields, to hats, weapons for Olwest, furniture, even vehicles and houses.
