Knights are the primer fighting force of the Kingdom. They are sworn to fight for and protect their Lord. To become Knight, one must display the attributes of a Knight, someone who is level-headed, intelligent, respectable, and talented warrior. One can only become a Knight after training under a Knight as a Squire, then being Knighted by the Lordof their Hold in a formal ceremony. This ceremony signifies the transition of being a warrior within a Banner to a respected Officer within a Hold.

Once, in a hidden glade nestled deep within an ancient forest, there lived a unicorn named Xiaoguard. Xiaoguard was a creature of unparalleled beauty, her pearlescent coat shimmering in the dappled light that filtered through the canopy. Her horn, a spiral of iridescent hues, seemed to hold within it the very essence of magic itself.

Legends spoke of Xiaoguard's grace, her healing touch, and her ability to bring forth new life with a mere touch of her horn. She was revered among the creatures of the forest, a symbol of hope and purity.

However, fate can be unkind even to the most wondrous beings. One fateful evening, as Xiaoguard roamed the glade under the silver glow of the moon, a darkness crept into the forest. A shadowy figure, envious of Xiaoguard's splendor, sought to possess her horn, believing it held the key to ultimate power.

A vicious struggle ensued, the air crackling with malevolent energy. Despite Xiaoguard's valiant efforts to defend herself, the assailant's dark magic proved too formidable. With a wicked strike, Xiaoguard's horn was shattered, its radiant light extinguished in an instant.

The forest echoed with a mournful cry as Xiaoguard fell, her once vibrant form now lying motionless upon the forest floor. The other creatures of the glade gathered around her, their hearts heavy with sorrow. The loss of Xiaoguard, the guardian of their sanctuary, seemed to cast a pall of despair over the entire forest.

Yet, in the wake of tragedy, something remarkable happened. The surrounding flora began to bloom with an ethereal luminescence, and the air filled with a gentle, healing energy. Xiaoguard's sacrifice had infused the very essence of the forest with her magic.

Though Xiaoguard's physical form lay still, her spirit lived on in the vibrant life that surged throughout the glade. The creatures, once despondent, found solace in the legacy of Xiaoguard's magic. They discovered that her essence had become a part of the forest itself, bringing forth new growth, healing wounds, and fostering hope even in the face of loss.

And so, though the unicorn named Xiaoguard was no longer among them, her presence lingered on, a testament to the enduring power of her spirit and the everlasting impact of her magic on the forest she had called home.
