The surname originates from the Latin word ''arcanus'', which means "mysterious" or "secret". Its stylized font was inspired by older families such as [[The Küsän Family|Küsän]] and [[The Çønsïlïm Family|Çønsïlïm]]. The Arçanüm Family has had an influence in many guilds such as [[Nekron]], Belmont, [[Elysia]], [[Aurea]], and [[The Unified State|The State]].
