Kyro Family Mythos, by Joe Kyro
The Birth of The Universe
Initially, there was naught but a black infinitude, the void itself, and a singular soul, an infantile wisp of limitless energy, lost in this endless darkness, seeking release. The pent up mass of power needed some kind of "direction" or "purpose". To find this "purpose", the soul reached into itself and birthed existence, spreading itself into what we know today as reality, into true existence. The wisp was now the nexus of spacetime itself, amply referred to as the Graalverse, the world placed in the heart of all universes. Additionally, the soul, having been the epicenter of this new world and the cynosure of its birth, took on its "purpose", and soon enough, its sheer willpower and determination focused enough energy into one location, to become a being capable of spontaneous creations, gifted with the ability to bend the laws and concepts of this world that It created Eventually, the energy came to call itself Kyrø. When He awoke in this form, He admired the world and all within it. He understood that innately while he was but energy. He had created many concepts and laws which the world abided by, and so He would watch the world to keep said law and concepts from going out of balance. Whenever He watched the world, it prospered. On the contrary, when He looked away, even for the slightest of moments, the world would dissolve swiftly and die if left unattended. While attempting to discover a solution to this problem, somehow innately, He knew... He would have to create others like Him. However He required mere mortals to make them a reality or they would have no desire to protect the mortal world, and so He decided to take upon an ordinary form and capture the most qualified of individuals. Subsequently, He granted them access to extraterrestrial power, over the laws and concepts of the universe, in the form of an art available to master in the society of Kyronia by only the most worthy of the family. He created a pantheon of Gods to watch the world for him when he leaves.
Jace: The First Kyro
God of Law, War & Brotherhood
The first being chosen for ascension was one named Jace. Due to Jace's similar demeanour to Him, they quickly grew friendly. He was shocked to find Jace's desire to protect the world. In life, he fought many great battles, assisting the realm of Kyronia in many war efforts. Jace fought for truth above all. Consequently, He thought it was only proper to grant Jace total power over Law, War, and Brotherhood, and so He placed Jace as a protector of the world. Unfortunately, with only a mortal mind, Jace could not comprehend how to use his powers, and so He decided to find another, perhaps a more intelligently advanced one than the first to help Him enlighten everyone with knowledge and true power.
Iris Kyro: The Mother of All
Goddess of Nature, Death & Life
Once again, He, in ordinary form, sought an individual capable of ascending, and this time able teach others to overcome the difficulties of the process. He found a woman named Iris. Iris was kind, patient, and gentle, perfect aspects for a teacher and a close friend to Him, not to mention she was extremely intelligent. He decided to give her dominion over Nature, Life, and Death. As He had planned, she was capable of teaching Jace and the rest of the Gods to control their powers. She, due to her powers, has dominion over the afterlife, meticulously ferrying souls safely to their end, or as she calls it; "retirement."
James Kyro: The Loyalist Kyro
God of Honor, Friendship & Knighthood
James was a close acquaintance, and no matter the time or the place, he responded when dispatched. A man who at one point could have inherited the multiverse if he so chose to. A man who deserved the titles and powers he earned, even after his "retirement", returned from his grave to protect the world and the realm of Kyronia when it was most needed.
Murdock Kyro: The Enduring Kyro
God of Time, Patience & The Sea
In his lifetime, He also met the man known as Murdock, who had never once denied Him. Murdock was in almost every iteration of the realm of Kyronia, and regardless of the task, He had set for Murdock to conquer and push forward, resulting in the realm of Kyro eliminating the power held in the world by Sehzan, an ancient evil. Each and every step of the way, even after his "retirement", where he has taken up fishing, Murdock stayed and will stay forever loyal.
Octane Kyro: The Artist
God of Art, Beauty & Professionalism
Long ago, a demon named Eoj had murdered every tailor, rendering all clothing and flags the people of this world had, naught but rags and sack cloth. Octanius rose up and smote the demon, and for this, was granted godly powers by Him. The man once led the realm of Kyronia in the stead of He, who had departed to help elsewhere in the multiverse, and led Kyronia to victory with the rest of the family. Out of respect, He added onto Octane's power, and turned the mere mortal into an immortal Kyro.
Santiago Kyro: The Rebellious Teen
God of Sloth, Potential, and Family
Santiago lived a simple life, an easy one before he met Him. Everyday was routine; he went to work, returned home, ate, and slept until the next day. However, He saw potential in Santiago and pressured him into work. Santiago ended up a great hero of the realm of Kyronia, and rose to Godhood all on his own. He's potentially the most powerful God next to Him, but that's only if he puts in effort.
Akira Kyro: The Towering Kyro
God of, Combat, Strategy & Power
Akira was a soldier, a loyal troop to the Realm of Kyronia, a man of tremendous combat power who cleared out enemy buildings and conquered them alone, establishing new bases on the front lines, or even behind enemy lines. When He first met Akira, He managed to convince Akira to fight for Him and his realm. Akira agreed and was taken in. Close to his death, he was asked if he would protect the world. He said "absolutely", and was accepted as a Kyro and protector of the world immediately, preventing his death.
Leon Kyro: The Boomerang
God of Secrets, Stealth & Information
When He first came to Graal, Leon found Him, and regardless of where He went, Leon followed. Every single time the realm of Kyronia was moved, he found it, seemingly to add insult to injury. Somehow, Leon figured out He was making people into Gods, and wouldn't stop bothering Him until he was made one. Due to Leon's determination and loyalty coming from a true desire to save his world, He decided that Leon deserved at least some power and granted him his abilities.
Ash Kyro: The Youth
God of Fire, Earth & Air
Kyro had decided fate should also have a hand in choosing the pantheon, and so he set on the mortal world a segment of his power. Ash is he who found it and was granted elemental powers for his luck, and here he stands today.
Donald Kyro: The Watcher
God of Vision, Leadership & Observation
Donald was a man with a lot of money, one who knew how to run a military while still virtually doing nothing but watch and make minor modifications where needed. The right orders here, the right rumours there, and kingdoms fell. This skill impressed Him, and so Donald was brought into the realm of Kyronia to sit and watch as he does best.
