Jace Mendacium

From Graal Military Wiki

The Beginning 2011

Jace Mendacium Verum Kusan, more notably Jace started Graal in August of 2011 going under the alias of "iNoob". He was a Dojo sparrer, earning the sparring family name of Chaos within a few months of sparring. The name was given to him because of his previously born friendship with Ariel, and his sparring capabilities. During his 2 years as a sparrer, he made many friends who were impressed at how quickly he picked up and mastered the art of sparring. He remains to claim he is the most underrated sparrer in the community and proved this in 2015 when he beat Paynius Valeria in a sparring competition to decide the war of Castle between Sehzan and Kyronia.

The Middle 2013

In March of 2013, iNoob was tired of the dojo. He decided to test his luck in the Arena and a month or two after being one of the more recognized arena sparrers, towering caught his attention. Here he went under a name change, "Blaze" and joined the Swamp-Home towering guild named Stuff Happens. Blaze rose the ranks, becoming a leader at around 200-250 hours of fort time. The leader of Stuff Happens, Maebee D. described Blaze as a hard-working player with great talent, she sadly has been off the game for a bit. Stuff Happens ended up dying out around September with over 1000 hours of fort time being achieved. She would be resurrected in 2015, however too little relevancy. For the end of 2013 and the start of 2014, Blaze would jump around towering guilds, he towered with Chain of Memories for a bit and ended off with Maphasey, and that is where Graal would throw him for a loop.

A New Beginning 2014

Here, I will take over and talk in the first person, hi guys it's me. One day I was towering at Castle, because back then Castle had a tower, and I was with Maphasey. After a little bit of an argument with Monkey D. Luffee, a leader of Maphasey at that time, it was decided I would pick 5 main tag members and all of the first tag of our allies, I believed named Maphasey fans (something like that), and I would lead them to Sardon's. As many of you know the preferred way to go from castle to Sardon's cuts through the Onnet dirt patch; and that's where I saw it. This massive guild in all black overcoats doing what I later learned was a rally with the flank formation. After getting completely destroyed at Sards, I think by Chain of Secrets who we didn't expect to show up, I decided to take a turn and join a military guild. Now as I would find out this guild, the State was on her last legs and later died to Tyrell and his little gang of misfits, within a week of me joining. However because of many people leaving prematurely I achieved the rank of Sergeant and was extremely proud of it, so after the death of State, I decided to stay in the community.

The Real Start 2014-2015

After the death of The State, I decided to stay guildless for a bit, I wanted to feel out this new community and what it had in store for me. Maybe 2-3 months after the death of The State I decided to join a familiar face whom I recognized from The State: Joe Kyro. I enlisted as a Cadet in 'The Grand Republic of Kyrenia' under the name of Holland and automatically became close with Joe, James, and a man named Doc. I do want to single Doc out for a bit, sadly he died off before his history could be recorded, he was and remains one of my closest friends to date, and for you who know me well know the non-custom head I wear was originally his, it's just may way of paying respect to one of the first people who taught me everything I know within the GMC. Here I rose to the top of the ranks, becoming a Colonel and I was the first person in GMC history to be awarded the Kyro name besides Joe himself, and it still remains one of my top trophies in my entire career, no matter how invaluable the name is now.

Where Jace Gains Face 2015-2016 (The Glory Years)

During this time, a man who I looked up to a lot for I has no idea what reason, was Paw. While I was guildless after Kyronia I saw Paw was in this guild named Minutemen with this guy named Estrella. I decided to ask for a tag and received one. After tagging me Estrella PM'd me and asked me this question: "If you were buried alive, what would you do" and trust me if I remembered what I said I would love to share it, but it's lost in my memory, I remember something about peeing in a sock though. However through my answer, he gave me the starting rank of Major, which is something I never saw or thought of before, I thought everyone had to start at the lowest rank and work their way up. Here I met Zen, my closest friend through everything, and I rose to the rank of Prince, becoming Estrella (Roanoke Han III) son, however, I don't claim lineage to him now, because of the way Minutemen died, which was by him being extremely power-hungry and going after Tyrell's new Vaiken guild to avenge the State, yeah it didn't go so well. I believe this was around November of 2015, and after Minutemen died I joined a guild named Aurea. I was very good friends with the Prince of that time, Azrael, and his Field Marshal, Fyre. As it turned out there was a huge Civil War, and by that time I was so close with Azrael, I sided with him and we all broke off into a guild name Azlam, and I was just regular old Jace. These are the years that I nickname my Glory Years because these years are where I think people really learned the name Jace and found out who I was.

Sealing a Name 2016-2017

By this time I was well known enough to join any guild in the GMC and get ranked about a Sergeant at the start. I achieved many more named in this process, most of which are lost to memory, however, some I still wear today, and we will get into that later. The most important guild in this time for me was Logan's Republic. I joined as a Sergeant because it was a bigger guild, and rose to the rank of Colonel. This built a bond between me and Logan, as well as some other people who I still call friends to this day. The Red and Gold Eagle of the Republic still remains fondly in my head, and while I was kicked for inactivity by Sol, I still love and respect this guild extremely. The Republic didn't last long but to those who ask me it was definitely my favorite guild because it paved the way for a new route. In 2017 I met James, Ian, and Morzan. We all made a guild modeling the SAFF, and I received the title of Clovis and the named of Kusan, and Kazakov. Here is where I was introduced to Muzak, as many of you know him and I were good friends and we've worked together a lot. The guild that rounded out these years was Aurea, as Kevlar made it again, I joined, and was ranked and remained a Lieutenant.

Dying Off 2018-2019

While I am in no way becoming inactive, I feel like these most recent years haven't been as fun as my last. Many of the guilds I joined in these years were repeats and under the same leader, and I feel like I lost more than I gained. However, there is a little to be gained from these years. Logan and I resealed a bond that had been lost since the Republic, and I received his family name of Verum. Logan and I remain great friends to this day, and I could honestly say if you have a bad opinion of him you really have a terrible judge of character. James and I also strengthened our bond as friends in these years as well, it is really cool that I'm becoming friends with all of these people who I looked up to in the beginning. However, the best part of these years was a new friendship with Vulnus. Vulnus is someone who before these years I've only heard stories about and one day he contacted me and we became good friends. While I am not a Consilim or Regium, I am a Mendacium, the name you all see me with now, as it is truly my most prized position in the GMC.

The End

While it is a new start to the 2020 year, nothing has been that notable, but I will probably add to this mid way through the year depending on what's happened. I have full awareness that some dates may be off by a bit, as I'm going off of memory, not fact. But in the end, if you want me to change something, go ahead and comment the change and I'll look into it. Lastly, I want to thank all of my friends, in some way in some fashion you all made this my history, and it's some of these events and some of y'all I'll go to the grave thinking about.
